Creating and joining multiplayer games

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

As many have discovered by now, playing Puzzlegeddon in multiplayer can be lots of fun (unless you’re playing one of our programmers…). Though not everyone might know just how easy it is to create or join a game or how it works, so here’s a rundown.

After selecting Multiplayer from the main menu, players can select to join an existing game or create one themselves. Creating a game means you will start a game on your computer which other players can join and of which you will be the “host”. Enter the name of the game as it will appear to others and select creating an online (Internet) or a local (local network) game. If you want to play with people all over the world and not just people in your office, then online it is. Configure the game to your liking (though limited in the demo) and start the game. People will be able to join your game at any time as long as there is room left. (more…)
